Location

The Midsummer HerbFest is held annually at the Herb Garden just outside the town of Almonte, Ontario at 3840 Old Almonte Road, Ottawa, On. See map below.

“the Herb Garden” is nestled in the Ottawa Valley, about 45 km west of Parliament Hill towards Almonte. It is very easy to find – located just east of Upper Dwyer Hill Road on the Old Almonte Road. If you are coming along Highway #7 or Regional Road #44, watch for the blue Ontario Tourism signs at Upper Dwyer Hill Road, and again at the Old Almonte Road.  For a more detailed map, please see below.

Get Directions

From Ottawa Central and East take Highway 417 west to the Highway 7 exit. Highway 7 west to the second exit at Upper Dwyer Hill Road. Turn north [right] on Upper Dwyer Hill. Drive approximately 7 kilometers to Old Almonte Road. Turn right on Old Almonte Road and look for our sign at our driveway. (We are the first driveway on the right.)

From Ottawa South take Fallowfield Road to Dwyer Hill Road. Turn north [right]. Cross Highway 7 and continue north on Upper Dwyer Hill Road for about 7 kilometers to Old Almonte Road. Turn right on Old Almonte and look for our sign at our driveway. (We are the first driveway on the right.)

If you are using a GPS device to find “the Herb Garden”, put the city location as either “Ottawa” or “Carp”.
Do not use “Almonte” as you will be misdirected.
